Child Care Institution

Chacha Nehru Bal Bhawan (CNBB) is a Child Care Institution for girls supported under Integrated Child Protection Scheme(ICPS) by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Govt. of India, New Delhi. It provides shelter and rehabilitation to children who are in need of care and protection. From the time of its inception till date, CNBB provides services to children from varying cases ranging from psycho-social support, educational support, institutional care, protection from all kinds of abuse and restoration to the family members.

Special School For Children With Hearing & Speech Impairment

• Churachandpur, Manipur

SHARE extended its focus area to disability and run a special school for children with hearing and speech impairment named Bridging Gap Institute under the support of Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India, New Delhi. SHARE - through its outreach activities - has encountered several cases where children with speech and hearing impaired are often segregated from the mainstream and their schooling has not been encouraged due to the stigma attached with the disability. SHARE tried to mitigate such stigma through its initiative by establishing a school where children with speech and hearing impairment would come out of their confined four walls and explore the world.

Senior Citizens’ Home For Older Women

Themnu Aged Care Home is an aged home run under the scheme – Integrated Programme for Senior Citizen through the support of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment ( Ageing Division) , Govt. of India.
Under the Aged Care Home, a holistic care plan has been used to focus on all aspects of an elderly women. The care plan for each individual is reviewed with a focus on all aspects of an elderly woman. The care plan for each individual is reviewed with a focus on physical and mental health, social activities, cognitive ability, nutrition and personal needs . Maintaining this apporach allows them to get the support and care they need while retaining their dignity.

CHILDLINE Sub Centre

CHILDLINE India is a project of Ministry of Women and Child Development. CHILDLINE India Foundation is a non- government organisation (NGO) in India that operates a telephone helpline called CHILDLINE 1098, for children in distress.
SHARE made its partnership with CHILDLINE India as Sub Centre since 2018. CHILDLINE Sub Centre has been able to facilitate in addressing to the needs of care and protection of the children in Churachandpur district. The Sub Centre stretches its services to linking the children in need of care and protection for the long term care and rehabilitation.

Girls Hostel

Grace Girls Hostel is one such home where young girls can find shelter. It is an initiative of SHARE Society in an effort to resolve issues pertinent to girl child and education. It has been observed from outreach programmes that a large proportion of girls are in need of shelter and safer environment. The hostel is not a mere accomodation for girls. It extends its capacity by facilitating in the personality development of the inmates; also provide counselling to the inmates in need of such services by linking with other allied system. SHARE envisions in enlarging its project by accomodating higher proportion of girls under its project.
